Cable Percussion Drilling
Cable percussion or shell and auger drilling is a cost effective method of drilling weak and superficial formations.
The rig and equipment are towed to site by a 4x4 vehicle allowing rapid mobilisation and set up once on site. Depths in excess of 50.0m are achievable with borehole diameters between 150mm and 400mm. This method of drilling is suitable for obtaining N values for piling and foundation design, installing soakaways and ground water monitoring points.
